Introduction

Lord willing, this series of studies will be a blessing to any one that takes the time to read them, and takes on board the scriptures presented.

They will be presented to you in a very simple and easy to follow manner, so that there is no room for confusion.

You may not like what you read. But nonetheless, if it is clear, you will get the message.

And if you don’t like what is written, then consider the following.

Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?
Galatians 4:16

It is hoped that these studies will either give you, or bring you closer to, answers you have been seeking.

How sweet are thy words unto my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth!
Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.
Psalm 119:103-104

But if you call yourself a Christian, and have trouble taking on board the words of the Lord Jesus Christ, you would be wise to pray unto God and ask why.

Consider the words of The Lord:

Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father’s name, they bear witness of me.
But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
John 10:25-28

And as can be seen from the following scriptures, even although someone is a believer, there still can be unbelief inside of them.

And one of the multitude answered and said, Master, I have brought unto thee my son, which hath a dumb spirit;
And wheresoever he taketh him, he teareth him: and he foameth, and gnasheth with his teeth, and pineth away: and I spake to thy disciples that they should cast him out; and they could not.
He answereth him, and saith, O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him unto me.
And they brought him unto him: and when he saw him, straightway the spirit tare him; and he fell on the ground, and wallowed foaming.
And he asked his father, How long is it ago since this came unto him? And he said, Of a child.
And ofttimes it hath cast him into the fire, and into the waters, to destroy him: but if thou canst do any thing, have compassion on us, and help us.
Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.
And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.
When Jesus saw that the people came running together, he rebuked the foul spirit, saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no more into him.
And the spirit cried, and rent him sore, and came out of him: and he was as one dead; insomuch that many said, He is dead.
But Jesus took him by the hand, and lifted him up; and he arose.
And when he was come into the house, his disciples asked him privately, Why could not we cast him out?
And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.
Mark 9:17-29

The Bible makes it clear that devils & unclean spirits are real, and they can influence, or live in the body of the believer. The Word of God confirms this, and is a higher authority than your assumptions or what your pastor has taught you.

And it came to pass, when the time was come that he should be received up, he stedfastly set his face to go to Jerusalem,
And sent messengers before his face: and they went, and entered into a village of the Samaritans, to make ready for him.
And they did not receive him, because his face was as though he would go to Jerusalem.
And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did?
But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of.
For the Son of man is not come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them. And they went to another village.
Luke 9:51-56

From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.
Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee.
But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.
Matthew 16:21-23

And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.
For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.
And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
2 Corinthians 12:7-10

So if you are a Christian and find that you have an adverse reaction to reading certain portions of scripture. You might want to consider that you are under the influence of, or have some devils/unclean spirits in you, and they are reacting to what is put before you. In which case you should seek the Lord for guidance and consider deliverance.

From personal experience of deliverance, the best resources I can direct you towards are the one that the Lord led me to.

Faith & Life ministries by Ernest B Rockstad. – http://www.faithandlifeministries.com/spiritual-warfare-messages/

Pastor Win Worley @ Hegewisch Baptist Church – www.wrwpublications.com/

Both of these men have now gone to be with the Lord. So it is their teachings that are available.

The Lord has only very recently shown me Pastor Win Worley’s teachings. But from what I have seen and read so far, everything is very Biblical. He is not KJV only, although he does quote from the KJV.

Re Ernest B Rockstad, the teachings are sold in a CD formt, and are predominantly from the 1950s. However, look upon this as a positive, as it is written

Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.
Jeremiah 6:16

The deliverance CDs cost money. And although Sound Biblical Doctrine has no commercial connection to the ministry, the following material can be verified as both educational & effective.

1st – Setting the Captives Free

2nd – Triumph in the Demonic Crisis

The first one is highly recommended. It is biblicaly founded, easy to follow and factual. Unlike some modern day people who get involved in this work, who are unbiblical, all over the place, and without any apparent structure.

However, a word of warning! Towards the end of the second series the preacher discusses a technique he calls the transfer method. A method he developed later on in his life.

This is to be highly disregarded and avoided! As it involves transfering a devil/unclean spirit into a willing 3rd party. Whom the the spirit is then cast out of.

This is not how the Lord or any of His disciples set the captives free, and there is no scripture to back it up as a viable method. As you are literally opening yourself up to things that you should be totally closed and locked against. And therefore this method should not be performed!

This, in and of itself, is a parallel of much of what the problem is with the modern day church. Many start of well and do a good work, and then they start to veer from the simple yet clear teachings of the Bible. If we as the body of Christ, were to earnestly desire to live in the fear of God, this would not happen.

It is also worth mentioning that it is biblical to listen to or read a man’s teachings prior to when he fell into error/heresy. Consider the book of Solomon. It is part of the scriptures. The scriptures clearly show us that Solomon’s heart was turned to serve other gods

But king Solomon loved many strange women, together with the daughter of Pharaoh, women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Zidonians, and Hittites;
Of the nations concerning which the LORD said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall not go in to them, neither shall they come in unto you: for surely they will turn away your heart after their gods: Solomon clave unto these in love.
And he had seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred concubines: and his wives turned away his heart.
For it came to pass, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned away his heart after other gods: and his heart was not perfect with the LORD his God, as was the heart of David his father.
For Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, and after Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites.
And Solomon did evil in the sight of the LORD, and went not fully after the LORD, as did David his father.
1 Kings 11:1-6

So The Lord is giving us solid grounds for this principle.

This does not mean that a person must be walking in sinless perfection for their teachings to be sound. As we all have to contend with our own sin nature. That is why it is written.

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1 John 1:8-9

And it was the apostle Paul, whom some regard as the greatest of the apostles, that said.

But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.
Romans 7:23-25

So we will all battle with our flesh until the return of the Lord Jesus Christ. However, embracing and teaching false doctrine is another story.
